Industrial Water Treatment

Recovery Technology

Water, seemingly abundant, is a precious resource. In industrial processes, food production, and human consumption, it’s surprisingly scarce. At Gamma®, we dedicate ourselves daily to developing water recovery technologies. We leverage silicon carbide ceramic membranes and ultrasonic vibration membranes to reuse effluents, reduce environmental impact, and recover process streams successfully.

Success story

MAX Field, Geopark

Villa Nueva, Casanare, Colombia

The produced water from the MAX field has an average temperature of 80⁰C and has a TSS and OIW concentration of 103 and 314 mg/l on average respectively, with a variation in TSS between 32 and 371 mg/l and in OIW between 70 and 1475 mg/l.

The treated water (permeate) has a TSS and OIW concentration of 0.28 and 0.16 mg/L on average respectively; with a variation in TSS and OIW between 0 and 5 mg/L.

The rejected water (reject) has a TSS concentration between 350 and 1050 mg/L and between 1500 and 4500 mg/L of OIW. This corresponds to a volume of between 10% and 15% of the inlet water and is redirected to a frac tank for disposal.

In turn, it is possible to direct this flow to a skimmer tank for oil recovery.
